Phuket International Hospital is one of Phuket's largest hospitals providing acute care hospital services. A comprehensive range of general and specialty medical and surgical services are provided including cardiology for the treatment of heart disease and heart attack, neurosurgery, extensive trauma care, hyperbaric medicine for diving emergencies, pediatrics, obstetrics, plastic surgery, Lasik, dialysis and dental services, as well as many other specialty services.

Critical care services and general out patient services are often our foreign patients’ first point of contact and Phuket International Hospital provides a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week Emergency Department (ED), and critical care comprises an 11-bed Intensive Care Unit. Our new hospital wing opened in early 2008.

Assisting foreign patients, relatives, families and medical tourism is our International Services department which provides coordination services with international insurance agencies and Embassies and ensures that any hospitalisation is managed as smoothly as possible.

Hospital News & Events

On 4 March, 2012, the Phuket International Hospital Marketing Team challenged the Phuket Reporter Team at the Phuket Soccer Arena in Phuket Town.  The games were fun and helped to build good relationships between the two teams.  In addition, on 5 March, 2012, the PIH Marketing Team performed “The Lazy Song by the Lazy Team” at the Phuket Merlin Hotel.
